I finally got my internet shopping credit card. I was ready to kick down the door to internet shopping. But first I had to get some things straight. I asked the Aramex guy to change the frequency to check my mailbox only once a month and he in a (Filipino accent) was like "sorry ma am, we no longer have that service, we only check 3x a week". So I asked him how come, and he said its to provide faster service to our customers. OK, what if I don't want a faster service I want my once a month!!!!!.....OK,Ok, Ok, 3x a week you say, what if my package is less than 1/2 kilo?..."even if your package is less then 1/2 kilo, our minimum charge for each delivery is 15 dollars". Can you believe this?? 7arameeeyah, there goes my Glamour subscription...So each time I get a monthly magazine thats a bill for 15 dollars!!! a years subsciption is only 16 dollars!!......Yet another scandal to take advantage of the saudi consumer!!...Can anybody find me a better solution???

Well your not the only one who is suffering from Aramex, I tries to utilize their PO Box service for my business and due to their delays and over pricings had to cancel that idea, So far I have tried to delay any purchases until I leave the country and bring stuff along with me or ask someone who’s leaving to bring stuff with him, it's a hundred times cheaper, faster and more guaranteed.

So you're another victim of Aramex's Shop & Ship service? Lol. Yes there is a better solution.
Go to Jarir bookstore or Aramex and buy a card called "Cash U".
It is just like having a credit card except you can only use it for online purchases. You'll have to use your saudi p.o. box and the magazine will charge you international shipping rates but at the end of the day it is cheaper and less of a headache. Try it out, you'll like it!

Helloo.. I just have a Q.. Did u actually recieve the mags? I had a subscription with In-Style but never got anything :( i guess it's another one of those BANNED GOODS in our precious country :@

Actually I never ordered them, I was discouraged by the shipping costs. I doubt they are going to be banned if you get them by ARAMEX. I could be wrong. Did you use aramex??

Go to www.zinio.com
and subscribe to the digital version of your favorite magazine for a fraction of the original subscription price.
You can even get single issues.
It's digital. It's instantanous and it's cheap. Enjoy :-)
PS. Also it never gets banned by any one. Freedom.

Thanx anonymous, I think that's the coolest idea "digital magazines", but who really wants to browse through a magazine on the computer? anyhow, the site is Blocked! :(
